KISS: Do not modify the panel plugin, but write a really simple app, that
allows the user to enter a start script and a stop script and automatically
creates a start-stop-script for it. That could be realized with a perl
script using p5-Gtk2 or maybe a simple python app. No need to make the
plugin more complicated.
