Ok, I totally buy that after checking up on my own behaviour:
realised after testing a few other of my (past) favorite "wm's" that I
usually don't have "Autosave" enabled, and thus usually don't have to
"Cancel->Settings Manager->Session Management->Un-check" and then Quit
again. (I also realised that I usually forget to check the Save, and
then lose the session I would have liked to save. I don't think I have
configured/terminated as many X Session as I have done now testing out
xfce4-sm in the last 10 years summed up :-)

Well, it sort of do that even if it is not active. I've been there and
tryed to un-check it more than once when realising that I have messed up
and don't want it saved :-)

Ok, I verify it with some other sm's and report it.

A, well, could do that if I started xmms myself, but it's gkrellm that
does it for me. Don't think I like that anyway, back to start xmms
myself :-) But nice hint for other stuff one doesn't like to have
managed by the sm, even if Autosave is the default!
