update script

i log in with the following script

 cvs -d:pserver:anonymous at cvs.xfce.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/xfce login

then the update script fails  any idea

anonymous:: no such user
cvs checkout: authorization failed: server cvs.xfce.sourceforge.net rejected
access to /cvsroot/xfce/ for user anonymous:
cvs checkout: used empty password; try "cvs login" with a real password
cvs unrecoverable error. Quitting!
