Hi, everyone ;)))
This morning TauNautrino entered #xfce. She had lost her panel's conf, 
so I recommended (for the try) to move .xfce4 to xfce4_old. Obviously, 
after restarting X, she got defaults ( automatically: mv 
/path/to/default/defaults ~./xfce4/ ? ). Up to here, nothing new under 
the sun.... BUT, when she put them back ( mv xfce4_old/ .xfce4/ ) she 
still had defaults (yes, yes, mea culpa....). I thought it was an order 
problem, since IIRC confs are saved on exit. I did the same as she did 
with identical result. Then I did it again, but changing order: first I 
stopped X, moved .xfce4/, restarted X (had defaults), then I exit X 
again, moved the conf back to .xfce4/, restarted X, and I still had 
defaults. I don't understand this behaviour. Why isn't my ~/.xfce4/ read 
?
