Heh, too bad I couldn't wait just a few hours before
 getting and installing that stuff then. I pulled it from
 CVS, compiled and installed it before work. While I'm at
 work my wife asks "Why don't my backgrounds work anymore?"
 Oops. . . . a little knowledge. . .
