Will need to figure this out. If I can figure out how to rearrange the
buttons flexibly, the rest of it will fall into place.

I had the same thought, but then realised that practically all the
commonality will be in libwmhints anyway. BTW, does anybody know what
functionality libwnck (is that correct?) provides? Is it useful in this
context?
