How to copy old terminal settings to the new XML ones?

Ah, so if I delete .config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xfce4-terminal.xml
(this`is a new installation, not an upgrade) and copy ~/.config/xfce4/terminal/terminalrc
from the old system my settings should get migrated.  I'll try that,
