PS:
The archive doesn't help with probably just delayed emails ;) [1]. Btw.
by accident I sent a mail using the wrong email address first, but I
didn't receive a "not allowed" or "waiting for moderation" notification.

Hi,
at the bottom of https://mail.xfce.org/mailman/listinfo/xfce click
"Unsubscribe or edit options", then log in. The Xfce mailing list
membership configuration provides the option to "Receive
acknowledgement mail when you send mail to the list". Just switch from
"No" to Yes" and then don't forget to click "Submit My Changes" at the
bottom of the page. However, this is an option you might want to use
only if the ISP doesn't allow to receive copies of your own mail,
but just to check if a mail with an attachment came through, there's a
link at the top of https://mail.xfce.org/mailman/listinfo/xfce "To
see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Xfce
Archives [ https://mail.xfce.org/pipermail/xfce/ ]", where you can
verify if your mail came through the list or not. The "scrubbed"
attachments in the archive came through the list, too, they just have
separated links, so when showing an archived mail nobody is forced to
waste bandwidth to download HTML content or gets tracked by web beacons
or fooled by what ever else HTML related issue, such as light grey fonts
on a little bit lighter light grey background.
Regards,
Ralf
