shutdown on lid?

Hi All,

Since this mailing list DOES NOT echo back to me what I post
and I am using HTML which gets bumped by a lot of lists, I have
no way of knowing if this post will get through.  Would someone
please write me back to let me know it worked.  If not, I will
re-post in plain text.

Well now, I got to see the laptop again today.  Got some "interesting" 
results.
This is what I configured:



The following occurred after rebooting.

Lid results on battery:
  Closing the lib shutdown the laptop
  Opening the lib, restarted the laptop, including BIOS splash screens

Lib results plugged in:
   Closing the lid caused the screen back light to power off (screen to 
black)
   Opening the lid caused the back light to come back on, showing the 
screen again
