Blurry parts with /Gdk/WindowScalingFactor of 4

Dear Xfce folks,


I have the HiDPI monitor Dell UP3214Q connected over DisplayPort, and 
scale the Xfce 4.16 desktop with Theme *Defaul-xhdpi* up.

     xfconf-query -c xsettings -p /Gdk/WindowScalingFactor -s 4

Unfortunately, some things are blurry then:

1.  For example the trash icon on the desktop.
2.  In the panel workspace space the iconized windows are also blurry. 
(In this case the terminal icons. The terminal icon directly in the 
panel is sharp.)

Do you have a hint on how to remedy this?
