Color of virtual workspaces

Hello,

Because I'm colorblind I would like to change the colors of the virtual
workspaces selector in the main tool bar.
With previous version of XFCE I could write a file (.gtkrc2... or something
like that) to do this.
But this file does not work with XFCE 4.14 !

everything is dark and unusable !

Is there a way to change that please ?
