My configuration (jack + bridged pulseaudio) has been rock solid since
the configuration changes I made to pulseaudio last weekend that I
described earlier. One should not mess with a winning team, so for now
I won't make any other changes. However if pulse starts misbehaving
again I will consider your suggestions. Thanks a lot for your help and
your PKGBUILDs (I saved them).
