why does the terminal start pulseaudio?

Yes, my test was with the bells disabled in xfce terminal (audible and visible).

Funny enough, Gnome Terminal had the bell enabled and yet did not
start pulseaudio! As for xterm, urxvt and the vte-based terminals i
tested, the bell status is whatever default it has, I have not checked
what it is.
