losing focus scrolling when focus follows mouse

I could not find any way to solve this by changing configuration or
otherwise, so I am now using a workaround which is simply using
openbox instead of xfwm. For those that encountered this issue, I
followed the instructions here:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xfce#Use_a_different_window_manager

With openbox I don't get this issue.
