Checking restart support by session command

Hello,

The command “xfce4-session-logout --reboot” (version 4.14.0-151.1)
can be executed also on my openSUSE Tumbleweed system.
The graphical login screen gets displayed after a moment.
I observe then that a computer restart is not performed
within a time frame I would expect usually.

* How can the run time characteristics be checked and improved
  for the reboot procedure?

* Are there any open issues to reconsider?
