Automatic xrandr call when plug monitor

I have somehow the same issue, I'm using a dockingstation at the office
with two monitors. I tried to call arandr via networkmanager-dispatcher
when an ethernet connection is up (outside the office I only use wifi),
but it does not work reliable.

Caused by your question I've searched and found [1]. Maybe it's worth a try.
