Screen not repainting

Hi Ernest,

By chance are you using GLSideshow?  I was and changed to
Bouncing Cows and the symptom went away.

So I reported the issue to Red Hat:

Okay, I find the bounding cows hysterical, but I am really
only twelve years old at heart.
