Frequent lockups - the resolution?

Yeah, I extend this offer to anyone. If you have your own USB drive,
I'll send you a disk with any files you want on it. This is better for
you because you can match the sigs against the official files.

And yeah, compiling XFCE on Debian is not fun. I too gave up and just
went to Sid. For the most part the drawbacks aren't obvious, but I did
have to use an alternative to Rhythmbox for a week or so recently. For
the stuff I do, however, I am mostly okay. I wouldn't do this in a
server environment, though.
