Sure, somebody with more skills could verify Hartmut's replies and might
be able, when quasi sitting in front of his monitor, to fix something,
assumed Hartmut misunderstood something. I don't think that anybody from
this list could do very much. An analogy: Assumed Hartmut's *buntu would
be a human, than we are at a point, we try to reanimate a brain dead by
speaking magic words through a telephone line. IMO the patient, the
*buntu installed on Hartmut's computer is dead. Since it's just an
analogy, it would be possible to fix Hartmut's *buntu, but IMO it's
close to a Fankenstein job. IOW it isn't worth the hassle, it's much too
time consuming.
