Xfce is very slow, part 2

Hello,

With the upgrade processes of several distributions, some old libraries,
programs, headers, etc. may be left behind. It is possible that you could
have a conflict or some programs running that are left from the version
before the upgrade. The only way to fix this is to reinstall Xubuntu from
an installation media, as Ralf said.
