Yes you are running the XFCE Window Manager.
I'm also not having any difficulty with XFBurn. It resizes according to
my wants and needs via picking up the edge and moving it.
I am using Xfburn 0.4.3. Along with "stock" installation from Debian
Sid/Unstable.
