Xfce is very, very, very slow

Lost overview too ...

IMHO: Performance loss can be caused by:
A) Lack of CPU power
B) Lack of memory
C) Really bad HDD performance

The solution can be found if we derermine the cause. Or am I really
late to the party? ;)
