Thats odd. The only way I could get it to give that error was if I
deliberately set jibberish, eg

$ cat ./.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini
[Settings]
gtk-primary-button-warps-slider = foobar

$ gedit

(gedit:17588): Gtk-WARNING **: Error setting
gtk-primary-button-warps-slider in
/home/sam/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini: Key file contains key
'gtk-primary-button-warps-slider' which has a value that cannot be
interpreted.

Can you check /etc/gtk-3.0/settings.ini and make sure the value is
either 'false' or '0' (no quotes, obviously ;)
