.xsession-errors from xfsettingsd - important?

Although this looks like a harmless warning, I still got rid of it with 
this line in my .xsessionrc file:

xprop -root -format _NET_NUMBER_OF_DESKTOPS 32c -set 
_NET_NUMBER_OF_DESKTOPS 1
