Help on understanding xfce

Hi All,

I want to understand build, install process of xfce plugins on xubuntu. How
can I use it or test ? I have completed steps till autogen.sh, make, make
install but the battery-plugin is not appearing in xubuntu.

Could anyone please help me with the same. Also could you please provide me
if you have any tutorials link which can help me understand if I am doing
anything wrong / not understanding in build process.
