Orage Clock Background Color

Running Xfce 4.10 (Slackware 14.0), setting the background color of the Orage 
clock proves fruitless -- I can set it, but it never takes effect.  In Xfce 
4.6.1 (Slackware 13.1), this works fine.

Note that the Orage clock's _foreground_ color setting in Xfce 4.10 is working 
fine.  Only the _background_ color setting seems to be ignored.

Any ideas or comments would be appreciated. Thanks!
