Thanks, sounds good. But I'm having trouble building it; there 
seems to be something funny with the timestamp on the files. 
The configure script bombs with

checking whether build environment is sane... configure: 
error: newly created file is older than distributed files!

Running "date" locally gives Sat Nov 10 14:10:33 EST 2012, 
which is correct.
