Could you please be clrearer, as I am new to xfce.
I right clicked on the panel,-> panel -> preferences ->items
and from there I added the seperator.
After I inserted a seperator, behavior remains the same.
So, it is not clear to me what you mean by spacer, as I see
no item called spacer.
