A summary of font options in Xfce:

 * the font settings for window titles: Main Menu -> Settings ->
Window Manager -> Title font

 * the font settings for the default font of GTK+ apps: Main Menu ->
Settings -> Appearance -> Fonts -> Default font. Here is where you can
also decide on things like antialiasing, hinting, sub-pixel ordering
and DPI. These options are important for all relevant X apps.

 * the font settings for Terminal: Terminal -> Edit -> Preferences ->
Appearance -> Font (you may independently disable antialiasing and
bolding for Terminal)

 * the font settings for the desktop: Main Menu -> Settings -> Desktop
-> Icons -> Appearance -> Use custom font size.

I know other desktops have centralized these settings in a single
place in their Control Center, but this is how Xfce handles this for
now.
