Dark themes

Albatross is not part of Xfce, same with Greybird – both are part of the Shimmer Project (shimmerproject.org). I'm the maintainer of the former and the creator of the latter, so in both cases it'd be nice if you could simply report bugs against those themes. The sources are in github (github.com/shimmerproject) or you can also report a bug on launchpad versus shimmer-themes. Personally I even prefer launchpad, github isn't really made for bugtracking...

Now to your concrete problems: yes, Albatross has an unfinished Gtk3 theme (that was written for Gtk3.2 and doesn't behave well with Gtk3.4), therefore the Update Manager breakage. This will hopefully be fixed soon, but I need to find time for that first.
The problem with Eclipse is totally new to me, I never used Eclipse and nobody ever reported a problem with that before. A screenshot plus version-numbers in the bugreport would be useful.

About dark themes in general: I have been planning to create one for at least a year, but never got around to it, there are too many issues to fix for each release of Xubuntu and I'm the only one working on Artwork there (if any of you feels like joining, that'd be great).
