In my opinion, the more I am looking into GNOME3 and KDE4, the more
this whole fiasco smells like another fraud of planned obsolescence.
Try the latest release of the MATÉ Desktop Environment, it is, to my
surprise, way much faster than GNOME2.
It does look to me that some of the major player in the computer
industry are paying for the developers of GNOME and KDE to make
unreliable products. The MATÉ contributors are less than the
contributors of GNOME!

I truly hope that Gtk3 will not incline too much to the direction of
planned obsolescence.
Anyway, I am loyal to the Xfce environment which is matching to my
personal point of view, though Xfce should have another and a more sexy
icon as a complement, in addition to the current mouse, for better
marketing, don't you think so too?
