Bottom row of icons never shows up.

I have two problems. Let me state the first and most critical.

Some months ago I lost the bottom row of icons. I received the
name ot the program to run, xfce4- something. Now it has
happened again and I have forgotten the exact program to run.

I'll put my other problem in a separate post.
