how to start xfce4.8 desktop environment

I used this method to change my window manager from xfwm4 to compiz:
I changed $HOME/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xfce4-session.xml
fot using compiz. put Floxbox into command part.
