Is mousepad defunct?

Hi Christoph,

The feature in Mousepad that I can not do without is the
ability to save text files in "CR+LF" format for things I
need to support in the Windows world. And, if I want to
print, I have always had to reopen in "gedit" to print.

Oh and as I am writing this, I yum'ed leafpad and it allows
for "CR+LF" too.  And, it finds all my CUPS printers. So,
I just learned to live without Mousepad.  Thank you!
