Sorry about that... you're right.

4.6.1 is the version, and has been working fine since it came out.
Something happened - and I can't really relate anything I did lately to
the problem. No changes in libraries, no changes to XFCE. I did install
a new kernel (from 2.6.29 to 2.36.1) but I hardly think that has
something to do with it.
