Tumbler keeps file-handles open, can't unmount usb disk after using Thunar

Hi,

For the last few days I experience problems using Thunar for
organizing my video collection on an external usb disk.
Once I used Thunar to just open a few directories, the external disk
can no longer be unmounted, because some file handles are kept open.

Further investigation showed Tumbler (0.1.22-4 is installed) is the
culprit, terminating it releases the file handles:

pstack shows Tumbler is stuck somewhere within gstreamer:

I've filed a bug 8208 a few days ago, but for now haven't got a response.
Any idea whats going wong here?
