Lost my bottom bar.

I tried to install Quanta plus and some libraries on my Salix system. 
As a result I lost my xfce bottom bar entirely on my normal login. It
appears OK on other users.I have tried copying my entire home directory
from a backup to my real  home directory but that doesn't work either. 

I am game to rebuild my bottom bar from scratch. But I don't know where
to start. 

Any ideas?
