Kicker panel diappears.

While moving resources from my old partition to my new I managed to 
knock out my kicker panal on the bottom of the screen. The last thing 
I did was move .kde and its subordinate files and foldere from old to 
new. At the same time I managed to stop the ability of Kmail to 
receive mail.
I am writing this from my old partition.
