orage journal is blank: locale problem?

Hi,

I am running orage-4.6.1_6 on FreeBSD 8-Stable. I have tried 
unsuccessfully to write a journal entry. The entry appears in
~/.local/share/orage/orage.ics or ~/.local/share/orage/orage_archive.ics 
but is not visible on the journal page.

Orage starts up with this message on the console:

** (orage:15243): WARNING **: get_first_weekday: Can not find first 
weekday. Using default: Monday=0. If this is wrong guess. please set 
undocumented parameter: Ical week start day (Sunday=6)
** Message: Orage **: Build alarm list: Added 0 alarms. Processed 0 events.
** Message: Orage **: 	Found 0 alarms of which 0 are active. (Searched 0 
recurring alarms.)


FreeBSD does not have a first_weekday locale key. Instead:

[robj]locale -k day_1
day_1="Sunday"


My locale is:
