fwiw, gnome-power-manager works fine, and the first time I tried to
suspend from xfpm it worked fine. Then it seems that xfpm is failing to
request authorization, while in fact I have it:
(polkit-auth is replaced by pkaction)
pkaction | grep suspend
org.freedesktop.upower.suspend
