Thanks for proposing your help, it will be much appreciated to keep
the Solaris support on green light :-)

As replied by Landry some changes are needed to get the Solaris source
file to work again. I'll be writing some words and examples about
adding support for an OS. I'll be mainly documenting the functions to
implement and adding a skeleton file.
