Does this also happen with the keys "windows" and "menu"?
Sometimes/Usually they are bind to switch between vts. One solution I
once found on Moblin, but that was a dirty trick and goes around the
problem, was to set a override those keybindings[1]. This thread may
be a solution for you[2].
