What is thunar-volman?
======================

The Thunar Volume Manager is an extension for the Thunar file manager,
which enables automatic management of removable drives and media. For
example, if thunar-volman is installed and configured properly, and you
plug in your digital camera, it will automatically launch your preferred
photo application and import the new pictures from the camera into your
photo collection.

Release notes for 0.5.0
=======================

Thunar-volman 0.5.0 is a complete rewrite of the old HAL-based code. It
uses udev and GIO instead of HAL for detecting, categorizing and
mounting removable media and other devices. 

This release makes thunar-volman compatible with thunar 1.1.x again.
Unfortunately, the use of udev disallows its usage on BSDs and other
operating systems. Hopefully, we can change this in the future.

At the moment, PDAs are not supported because I haven't found a way to
detect them using udev properties yet.
