Where did my vmware go?

Hi,
   Strangeness. I've got a dual-head setup in which I was (and still
am apparently) running a long, compute intensive job inside of vmware.
I was just sort of clicking around here and there doing things on the
computer and everything in vmware disappeared from the screen. However
I see it's still running using 100% of 1 CPU so everything looks
normal except that I don't see the app.

   I was able to log out of XFCE without any questions, and I was able
to log back in, but I cannot find the visual part of this app anymore.

   Is there something about XFCE where it can hide things? I've looked
at all 4 desktops. There's nothing on any of them.

   Can I get this back?
