exFat and Thunar auto mounting

System Info:

FreeBSD-7.2

Xfce 4 Desktop Environment
version 4.6.1 (Xfce 4.6)

Thunar 1.0.1

I seem to be having a problem auto mounting USB media drives. When the
drive is inserted into the PC, the following is logged to
the /var/log/messages log:

Jan 15 07:26:04 scorpio root: Unknown USB device: vendor 0x0781 product 0x5530 bus uhub1
Jan 15 07:26:04 scorpio kernel: umass1: <SanDisk Cruzer, class 0/0, rev 2.00/2.00, addr 2> on uhub1
Jan 15 07:26:04 scorpio kernel: da4 at umass-sim1 bus 1 target 0 lun 0
Jan 15 07:26:04 scorpio kernel: da4: <SanDisk Cruzer 8.02> Removable Direct Access SCSI-0 device
Jan 15 07:26:04 scorpio kernel: da4: 40.000MB/s transfers
Jan 15 07:26:04 scorpio kernel: da4: 3835MB (7856127 512 byte sectors: 255H 63S/T 489C)

I use this device to share info between my FreeBSD PCs and my Windows
PCs. Now, if the device is formatted in regular 'FAT', the drive is
auto mounted as soon as I insert it into the PC. However, if the drive
is formatted in 'exFat', this is not true. Is this a bug in Thunar or a
design decision? The 'exFat' system is far better for storing files on
removable devices so I would have assumed it would be supported.
