Resize problem with Open Office in xfce

I have Open Office 3.1.1
000310m19 (Build:9420)

And I can't get toolbars diasppear.  Well, when I resize it to very 
small they do not fit in
anymore and vanish, but they come back when I make the window bigger.  
At least in
my opinion it works as I expect it to work.

I doubt this has anything to do with Xfce.
