Highlight mouse pointer ability?

Under both KDE and GNOME it is possible to find back your mouse pointer by
pressing some keys. As I have several screens, I sometimes loose where my
pointer is, so something similar (or identical) would come in handy under
XFCE as well.

It can also be usefull on a portable if there is too much light on the
screen (like that pesky sun)

Is there a way to do this with XFCE or is there a workaround that somebody
already uses? Something like an animated spiral would be great. I have
searched on Google and found nothing. Perhaps I used the wrong search
terms.
