Xfce and HAL - what is the future?

Xfce 4.6 works perfectly fine on OpenBSD, and we don't have HAL.
The only things not available due to missing HAL are thunar-volman,
xfce4-power-manager (from memory, there might be a couple of panel
plugins too, which are linux-only)
