NO saved sessions - how?

When I login in xfce some programs of my last login session are restarted.
I think, this is called "saved session".
I do not like this concept at all.

How can I prevent this behaviour?

I have in Sessions --> Sessions and Startup :

[ ] Automatically save session on logout

(NOT activated!)

My workaround so far: in .profile :
rm $HOME/.cache/sessions/*
