Are you on Fedora, too? I guess, because you replied to the "... recent
Fedora 10 updates" thread.

If you are on Fedora, it must be Fedora 9, because Fedora 10 already
comes with Xfce 4.4.3. For Fedora 9 the 4.4.3 update is in the testing
repository. Please test the packages from 
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/F9/FEDORA-2009-3521
and see if they fix your problems.
